Have these ready: spendable native SOL, enough SOL to cover the sending transaction, and a receiving address from a Monero wallet.

Check that you hold native SOL

This route starts with native SOL on Solana and ends with native XMR on Monero. It is useful when you already hold SOL and want the resulting Monero delivered to a receiving wallet. The form begins with that pair selected. You can edit the amount immediately; wait for a current XMR output before proceeding.

A Solana wallet can contain many assets besides SOL. USDC, wrapped SOL, staking tokens, and other tokens on Solana should not be treated as interchangeable deposits. Open the asset you intend to send and check its actual name. A balance expressed in a SOL equivalent does not necessarily mean that native SOL is available for transfer.

If the asset is not native SOL, stop at this check rather than testing an incompatible deposit. Use the main crypto swap form to inspect other available routes. Never assume that a token will be converted automatically because it was sent to a valid Solana address. The order specifies what it expects to receive.

You also need native Monero at the destination. A token using the XMR name on another blockchain is not a substitute for a Monero receiving wallet. This exchange crosses two separate networks. There is no instruction in this process to send SOL directly to an XMR address or to add Monero as a Solana token.

Keep the sending wallet and receiving wallet separate

Your SOL wallet sends

Use its normal Send function to pay the deposit address assigned to the order. Check that the asset is SOL and the network is Solana.

Your XMR wallet receives

Copy its Monero receiving address into the exchange form. After payout, open that wallet and allow it to synchronize.

The two wallets may be different apps, or different supported wallets within one app. What matters is the selected asset and network on each side. A shared app name does not merge the networks. Before creating the order, open both relevant screens so that you know which address to copy and which wallet will make the payment.

If you use Phantom to hold SOL, take the deposit address from the exchange order and make the outgoing transfer from your SOL balance. The payout destination still needs to be a Monero wallet. Do not use a Solana receiving address as the XMR destination just because it is the easiest address to find in your current app.

Prepare the Monero wallet before funding the swap. Complete its setup and backup instructions, open the intended account, and copy an address generated there. Cake Wallet’s Monero documentation is one official reference for a wallet supporting XMR. Use official installation links rather than a wallet download offered through an unsolicited message.

Give each address a clear role in your own notes: “SOL deposit for this order” and “my XMR receiving address.” Keep private order-access details private. A simple label is often enough to prevent copying an address from the wrong app when switching between several browser tabs and wallets on a small screen.

You do not need to provide a recovery phrase to make either address useful. A public receiving address allows delivery; a recovery phrase can give control of the wallet. They serve completely different purposes. Do not paste recovery information into the exchange, an address checker, or a support conversation.

From the quote to the outgoing SOL transfer

1. Enter the SOL amount you can send

The form starts with one SOL so you can inspect the route. That is an editable starting value, not a minimum and not a suggested purchase size. Replace it with your own intended amount. Check the displayed limits and wait for the XMR output to update. If an error appears, resolve it before moving on.

Leave room for the Solana transaction charge. Solana’s official documentation states that transaction fees are paid in SOL. An account can hold the asset you want to exchange yet still need enough spendable SOL for its outgoing transaction. Read the wallet’s current confirmation screen rather than reserving a fixed amount copied from an old tutorial.

If part of your holdings is staked, pending, or represented by another token, use the balance the wallet actually makes available to send as native SOL. Do not create a short-deadline order while waiting for another process to make funds spendable. Prepare the sending balance first, then obtain a quote that matches what you can deliver.

2. Enter and verify the Monero destination

Paste the address from your XMR wallet into the receiving field. Compare it with the original after pasting, and make sure you are looking at the intended wallet account. The website can check aspects of address format, but it cannot know whether you meant to use a different account or a different person’s address.

If someone else will receive the Monero, confirm the destination with them through a trusted channel before creating the order. An old message may contain an address they no longer want to use. Do not rely on a copied screenshot alone when a fresh confirmation is practical. The receiving address is part of the exchange instructions you are about to approve.

3. Review the order conditions

Read the output and the selected rate option in the form. Complete the required acknowledgements only after reading them. Then create the order and save its reference. The quote stage is a chance to inspect the exchange; it is not proof that a deposit has been received or that the payout has happened.

Use the order’s current payment instructions. Note the required asset, amount, deposit address, and deadline. If any of these differs from what you intended, do not fund the order until the mismatch is resolved. A change of mind before payment is easier to handle than an incompatible transfer sent in the hope that it will be accepted.

4. Confirm the SOL transfer in your wallet

Open Send for native SOL and paste the order’s deposit address. Review the complete destination and the amount on the final confirmation screen. If a hardware device is involved, also verify its display. Do not let a familiar-looking first few characters replace the wallet’s full confirmation process.

Check how the wallet handles its transaction charge, especially if you use Max. The amount debited from your balance and the amount delivered to the deposit address may be presented separately. The order should receive the instructed amount. If the wallet cannot send that amount while covering its charge, return to the quote stage before creating a payment mismatch.

After sending, save the outgoing transaction signature or the wallet’s transaction link. This is the useful network reference if the order needs to be reconciled. Leave the order available in your browser. Switching apps does not require a second order or another deposit.

A mobile workflow with fewer opportunities to copy the wrong thing

Start in your Monero wallet and copy the receiving address. Switch to AceChange, paste it into the XMR field, and compare it with the wallet before creating the order. Only after the order exists should you copy its SOL deposit address and open the sending wallet. This sequence keeps the two addresses from competing in your clipboard.

On returning from the wallet, open the saved order rather than the site’s homepage. You want the state of the transfer you already started. If your mobile browser reloads the tab, use the saved reference or the order tracker. Keep any access information the order provides; do not assume that a generic quote page remembers a funded order.

If you scan a QR code, still inspect the wallet’s interpretation before signing. Check the asset, destination, and any amount the wallet filled in. A QR code is a convenient way to transfer information, not an independent guarantee that the information is correct. Use the code attached to the current order rather than an older screenshot.

Complete one exchange before starting another if you are new to this workflow. Several concurrent orders make it harder to remember which deposit belongs to which receiving address. There is no benefit to creating duplicates while waiting for a wallet to broadcast a transaction or for an order status to update.

Read the evidence at each stage

SOL sent, XMR received: separate the stages
StageUseful evidenceWhat it does not establish yet
Quote availableThe form shows XMR for your entered SOL amountThat an order is funded
SOL transfer submittedA wallet transaction signature and its network statusThat the exchange has completed
Order processingThe status of the existing exchange orderThat the receiving wallet is synchronized
XMR payout reportedThe order’s payout recordThat all required wallet confirmations have finished
XMR visible and spendableThe intended Monero wallet’s updated balance and transaction recordThat a new future swap will use the same rate or timing

Start with the outgoing transaction if an order appears unpaid. Compare the asset, amount, destination, and network status with the order. A failed wallet transaction is different from a successful transfer awaiting recognition. If the sending app reports failure, establish whether any transfer succeeded before attempting another payment.

If you withdrew SOL from a custodial service, its internal status may precede the network transaction. Ask that service about a withdrawal that has not been broadcast. If the transfer is on-chain but the order is not progressing as expected, give AceChange support the order reference and transaction signature. These identify the specific events to compare.

If the order reports a Monero payout but your wallet is empty, confirm the receiving account and allow the wallet to synchronize. Check that the address stored with the order belongs to that account. A delayed wallet display does not by itself establish that another SOL payment is required.

Received Monero may need further confirmations before it is spendable. Follow the wallet’s status. The official Monero receiving guide explains the distinction. Avoid promising the recipient an exact spending time based only on Solana’s sending speed: the exchange and the receiving network have their own stages.

Questions that matter for this route

Can I swap SOL to XMR without first buying Bitcoin?

Yes, when the direct SOL-to-XMR route returns a valid offer for your amount. The form on this page is configured for that direct pair. If it is temporarily unavailable, wait or ask support about the route; do not invent an intermediate payment path using deposit addresses from unrelated orders.

Will a normal Send transaction from Solana convert SOL into XMR?

No. A wallet transfer moves the asset on its network. The exchange order performs the conversion and specifies the destination on the other network. Use the order’s Solana deposit address for the outgoing payment and a Monero receiving address for the payout. Those addresses are not interchangeable.

Can I use the same deposit address again next week?

Create a new order and follow its instructions. Do not treat an old exchange deposit address as a permanent personal address. The new exchange needs current terms, a current amount, and the receiving destination you actually intend to use. A saved old address is not a substitute for those details.

What if I accidentally selected wrapped SOL?

Stop before sending. This page starts with native SOL. Check the asset your wallet holds and the exact asset expected by the order. If the wallet provides a documented way to obtain native SOL from the asset you hold, complete and verify that process first. Do not assume the deposit will be automatically repaired.

Why does the Monero wallet show a different stage from the order?

The order tracks the exchange, while the wallet tracks its own view of incoming Monero and spendability. Synchronization and confirmations can make those stages appear at different times. Reconcile the payout address and record, then use the receiving wallet’s instructions. See our pending-swap guide for a structured investigation.

What information should I send to support?

Provide the order reference, the outgoing Solana transaction signature, and a short description of the mismatch. State whether the issue is before payment, after a confirmed deposit, or after a reported payout. Use the official contact channel and keep wallet secrets and unrelated personal details out of the request.

Does checking a quote commit me to the exchange?

Reading the form’s output does not send your SOL. It lets you inspect the route before creating and funding an order. Use that opportunity to check the amount, destination, and requirements. If you are not ready to send within the order’s instructions, finish preparing your wallets before proceeding.

Handling an interruption without paying twice

A phone call, a closed tab, or a wallet notification can interrupt the sequence between creating an order and submitting SOL. When you return, first establish what you already did. Open the existing order and the sending wallet’s activity. Do not assume that a missing browser screen means the payment failed.

If the wallet has no outgoing transaction and the order is unpaid, check whether its instructions are still valid before proceeding. If the wallet does show a transaction, inspect its status and destination. A pending transaction is a reason to follow that transaction, not an instruction to send a duplicate deposit. If the status is unclear, keep the signature and ask support to reconcile it.

If you created two orders by mistake but funded only one, use the funded order’s reference when checking progress. The other order may still be waiting because it has received nothing. Compare the deposit destination in your wallet’s transaction with the destinations in the two orders to identify the correct match. Do not fund the second order merely to make both screens show activity.

If you copied the wrong Monero account before order creation, inspect the destination saved with the order. Before any payment, stop and obtain instructions that use your intended address. After payment, contact official support about the existing order promptly. Do not assume that changing an address in a separate form changes an order already being processed.

When a transaction genuinely failed, review the wallet’s error before trying again. Check that no successful payment exists for the same attempt, that the order remains valid, and that the next transaction uses the correct amount. Those checks are more useful than repeatedly pressing Send in response to a slow status update.

Once the exchange is complete, record the outcome in your own wallet notes if that feature is available. Use a simple description that helps you recognize the swap later without putting private order-access information into a public transaction memo. Your private records and a public blockchain field are different places to store information.
