Non-custodial by default
We never hold your funds. Coins move from your wallet, through our liquidity partner, to your destination wallet — directly, atomically, without a hot wallet or customer balance to compromise.

Is AceChange.io safe? How do you keep my crypto secure?
We are fully non-custodial. Your coins never sit on our platform; they move directly from your wallet through our established liquidity partners to your destination wallet. There is no hot wallet, no account balance, no customer funds for us to lose, hold, or freeze. Every swap uses unique, one-time deposit addresses, and our crypto-to-crypto swap layer is routed through a non-custodial exchange backend that has been operating in the space for years.
Why no KYC for crypto-to-crypto swaps?
We believe in data minimization: we don’t collect personal information we don’t need. For pure crypto-to-crypto exchanges we don’t require an account, email, ID document, or selfie — just wallet addresses. This aligns with our mission of making financial freedom accessible and with GDPR’s principle of processing only data that is strictly necessary. Our fiat gateway (card and bank transfers) does involve KYC because regulated payment partners require it.

AceChange.io operates as a non-custodial routing service that does not take possession of client funds — a business model that falls outside the scope of custodial-exchange licensing in most jurisdictions. We apply GDPR standards to all personal data we do handle (primarily support correspondence and optional order-notification emails). Our fiat-gateway partner is fully licensed and enforces EU AMLD5/6 compliance on card and bank purchases.
