Kiosk Setup Guide
Set up a kiosk tablet at your exchange point. Customers can use it to swap crypto directly at your location.
Step 1: Create a Location
Go to Locations tab and create your exchange point with address, opening hours, and services (SWAP, BUY, SELL).
After creating, you will see a Kiosk URL on the location card. This is the unique link for your kiosk.
Step 2: Install as App on Tablet
Your kiosk URL works as a Progressive Web App (PWA). When installed, it runs fullscreen without a URL bar — customers cannot navigate away.
Android Tablet:
- Open Chrome on the tablet
- Navigate to your Kiosk URL
- Tap the three dots menu ⋮ in Chrome
- Select "Install app" or "Add to Home Screen"
- Tap "Install"
- The kiosk app icon appears on the home screen
- Open it — it runs fullscreen without URL bar
iPad / iPhone:
- Open Safari on the iPad
- Navigate to your Kiosk URL
- Tap the Share button (square with arrow)
- Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
- Tap "Add"
- Open the app from home screen — runs fullscreen
Step 3: Lock the Tablet (Recommended)
For a professional setup, lock the tablet so customers can only use the kiosk app.
Android — Kiosk Lock Mode:
- Open Settings → Security → Screen Pinning
- Enable "Screen Pinning"
- Open the kiosk app
- Tap Recent Apps, then tap the pin icon on the kiosk app
- The tablet is now locked to the kiosk app
- To unlock: hold Back + Recent buttons and enter your PIN
Samsung tablets: Use Samsung Knox for enterprise-grade kiosk lock.
iPad — Guided Access:
- Go to Settings → Accessibility → Guided Access
- Turn ON and set a passcode
- Open the kiosk app
- Triple-click the Home button (or Side button on Face ID iPads)
- Tap "Start" in the top right
- The iPad is now locked to the kiosk
- To unlock: triple-click and enter your passcode
Step 4: Configure Exchange Rates
Go to Exchange Rates tab to configure currency pairs for your location. Set your margin (profit) on each pair.
Rates are fetched automatically from live APIs (CoinGecko, ECB). Your margin is applied on top.
Built-in Security Features
- Auto-fullscreen — Kiosk enters fullscreen on first touch
- No URL bar — When installed as PWA, no address bar is visible
- Back button blocked — Browser back navigation is prevented
- Right-click disabled — Context menu is blocked
- Pinch zoom disabled — Prevents accidental zoom
- Text selection disabled — Only input fields allow selection
- Inactivity timeout — Kiosk resets after 2 minutes of no activity
- Pull-to-refresh blocked — Prevents accidental page reload
